İTKİB, the General Secretariat of Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Associations ("İTKİB"), which works to increase exports by organizing exporters and ensure that foreign trade develops in line with national interests, also shows its sensitivity in the sector regarding the security of personal data. With this awareness, we attach great importance to the processing, storage, and deletion of special and general qualified personal data belonging to our visitors in all media in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, the secondary regulations (regulation, notification, circular) put into effect and to be put into effect pursuant to the Law, and the binding decisions taken and to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board. With the awareness of this responsibility, as the "Data Controller" defined in the Law, we process your personal data in the manner explained below and within the limits mandated by the legislation.

1. INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATA CONTROLLER

In accordance with the Law, İTKİB - ISTANBUL TEXTILE AND APPAREL EXPORTERS' ASSOCIATIONS GENERAL SECRETARIAT, located at "Çobançeşme Mevkii, Sanayi Cad. Dış Ticaret Kompleksi B Blok P.K.34196 Yenibosna - Bahçelievler / ISTANBUL," is the Data Controller.

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

İTKİB, which works to increase exports by organizing exporters and ensure that foreign trade develops in line with national interests, needs to process personal data both while directly fulfilling its legal obligations and in situations indirectly required by these obligations and the services provided. In this context, your personal data is processed by İTKİB for purposes such as accommodation reservations, purchasing flight tickets, arranging transfers, sending transfer details, using in Activity Payment Application Files, providing personalized services through mobile applications related to supports (e.g., meeting invitations), being included in the supplier firm list prepared for foreign companies, keeping the number of participants in events that can be attended by a limited number of participants to maintain the nature of the organization, organizing events, obtaining state support for delegation organizations, ensuring the continuity of TTM organizations, creating mail and WhatsApp groups, communicating via email, sharing World News and Daily News Bulletins, creating WhatsApp groups for communication via phone, facilitating communication between participating companies and universities related to projects, managing fair operations, managing delegation operations, preparing catalogs containing information about companies participating in fairs and distributing them to foreign companies, inviting to competitions and organized events, paying current cards in the accounting system, catalog information, contracts, writing Visa Letters to Embassies/Consulates, managing transactions with participants and companies, writing catalog information, UR-GE ACTIVITIES B2B ACTIVITIES information exchange, collecting contact information of individuals using the portal, requesting information/documents to ensure the healthy progress of the file review process, Import Registration Certificate, concluding Support Applications, documents requested regarding YK/DK Membership, Data Registration, Data Request, and Payment processes, all in a manner that is always connected, limited, and proportional.

3. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data, within the above-mentioned purposes, is transferred in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law to agencies, hotels, responsible board members, responsible personnel, Microsoft Dynamics Online, inspection organizations, İHKİB Mobile Application Design Company, relevant foreign companies looking for manufacturers/exporters, relevant ministries when necessary, IT Department, representatives of Turkish and foreign buyer companies, consulting firms we have agreements with, E-Union, fair visitors, Embassies/Consulates, Legal Department, SAP, Ministry of Trade-TİM, and all institutions, companies, and their partners when requested.

4. METHODS AND LEGAL REASONS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is collected by İTKİB through authorized data processing individuals or legal entities via email, phone, website, various contracts, forms and minutes kept on paper, and other verbal, written, or electronic methods, both automatically and non-automatically.

In this context:

Member information (name-surname, phone number, email, business card, account information)

Visitor (identity information)

Closed-circuit independent video recording (recording of individuals and the environment in the security print area and warehouse)

TDH FAIRS BRANCH (full name, mobile phone, email, company information, vehicle license plate, passport number)

İHKİB Information (full name, mobile phone, email, company information, company tax number, individual's İHKİB Mobile Application usage data, optionally social media accounts)

EU projects branch (SGK statement of member company personnel, Commercial Registry Record of member company owner, passport images of owner (passport number))

Board of Directors Branch (passport copy, blood type, ID photo, digital image, digital ID, title)

the above-mentioned personal data is processed in accordance with Articles 2/a-c-ç-e-f of Article 5 and Article 6(3) of the Law, based on İTKİB's legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS UNDER THE LAW

At any time, you can apply to İTKİB and:

Find out whether your personal data has been processed, the purpose of processing and whether it is used for its intended purpose, and request information if it has been processed,
Learn about the third parties with whom your data is shared domestically or internationally in accordance with the Law,
Request correction if you think your data is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Request the deletion or destruction of your data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
Request notification of your requests under (c) and (d) to third parties to whom your data is transferred and request them to perform the same actions,
Object to the occurrence of a result against you due to the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems or if you think your data is recorded or used unlawfully, request compensation if you suffer damage due to this.

If an additional cost is incurred for the processing of your request, you may need to pay the fee determined by the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to Data Controller issued by the Personal Data Protection Board. If a written response is given to your request, no fee will be charged for the first 10 (ten) pages, but a transaction fee of 1 TL will be charged for each page over 10 (ten) pages. If the response to your request is given in a recording medium such as CD or flash memory, the cost of the recording medium will be charged to you.

Your requests will be finalized as soon as possible and within no later than 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the request.

By filling out the form available at http://www.itkib.org.tr, signing it with your secure electronic signature under the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070, and sending the signed form to [email protected] via registered electronic mail.

In your application, which includes explanations about the right you wish to use and which you request to exercise, the subject of your request must be clear and understandable, the subject you request must be related to your person, or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, you must present a specially certified power of attorney from a notary regarding this matter.

In your applications, including your name, surname, signature, Turkish ID number, residence or workplace address, email address, phone, and fax number, and the elements of your request are mandatory according to the "Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller." Applications not containing the mentioned elements will be rejected by İTKİB.

İTKİB reserves the right to make changes to this disclosure statement due to the Law, secondary regulations, and Board decisions. Changes to the disclosure statement and the current statement will become effective immediately upon being notified to you.
