Euratex

The European Apparel and Textile Confederation, known as Euratex, is the sole umbrella organization representing the European textile and clothing industry before the European Union and international institutions. Headquartered in Brussels and founded in 1995, Euratex maintains direct communication with key EU decision-making bodies such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the Council of the European Union. Euratex plays a main role in shaping policies, directives, funds, and other decision-making mechanisms that impact the EU’s textile and clothing sectors. İHKİB has been a Euratex member since 2001 and has held a seat on the Euratex Board of Directors represented at the vice president level since 2002. Besides Türkiye, other non-EU countries represented in Euratex include the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and Serbia etc.
